Imose and NASENI Secure NITDA, NCC Buy-in for Laptops

Imose Technologies and its partner, the National Agency for Science and Engineering
Infrastructure (NASENI)
, have secured critical stakeholder buy-in for the NASENI Zedon X-
Pro laptop and Opor tablet. This occurred during the team’s recent visit to the National
Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)
and the Nigerian Communications
Commission (NCC)
in Abuja.

Unveiling the devices to both stakeholders, the Chairman/Founder of Imose Technologies,
Osayi Izedonmwen highlighted affordability, reliability, versatility and battery efficiency as
some of the key features of the smart devices, adding that they are designed to cater to the
unique needs of the Nigerian market.


Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the Director-General and CEO of NITDA was elated to see the
NASENI smart devices manufactured in Nigeria by Imose Technologies, a NITDA-certified
original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Mr Abdullahi emphasised the importance of the strategic partnership between NASENI and
Imose Technologies, describing it as a “strategic move” that would reduce capital flight, build
local capacity for Nigerian OEMs and create jobs for the youth.


Also, the Special Assistant, Technical to the EVC/CEO of NCC, Dr. Umar Abdullahi said
NASENI’s mission is in line with the Commission’s mandate to patronise indigenous
products to bridge the digital divide and improve telecommunications access to all Nigerians.
With the introduction of the NASENI Zedon X-Pro laptop and Opor tablet, Imose
Technologies has shown its commitment to innovation and quality as we aim to compete on
both local and international stages.


By prioritising indigenous production, this partnership is set to enhance Nigeria’s
technological infrastructure, paving the way for further developments and opportunities
within the sector.
